Amicitia of EU Earthen Ring cleared all of Naxxramas in just four weeks of raiding. Not bad for a casual raidforce, they say. Next up, they were headed to OS and the Eye of Eternity.

Last Wednesday 28/01/2009 was the first raid in the new era of theforgotten. The raid started well in the spider wing and was cleared without much effort. We then continued through the plague wing which offered scant resistance to the detrmained force led by the awsome tanks of theforgotten. The DPS was only matched by the dogged resistance of the healers not to let too many die, consequently the plague stood little chance. Then on to the construct wing and the first boss 'Patchwerk' was down ...

(Downed section)

Amicitia on EU Earthen Ring downed 13 of the 15 bosses in Naxx in just two and a half weeks. Last raiding night was the best night of them all: they downed the last two bosses in the Abomination Quarter and all three of the bosses in the Military Quarter. Sapphiron is on notice for next time (and KT soon after that).

Its only or second week in Naxx and we already killed 8 bosses in there!!

Al tho the second boss in the Abomination Wing did give us some trouble i was realy proud and happy we killed him in the end!

Patchwerk went down the second try witch i think is realy good plus he is a gear test to see if you got the tanks, dps and healers up for the rest of the Abomination Wing.

So keep up the great work ppl and lets see if we can get more bosses down this week.

Raidar has in some ways been very good for visualizing the signup but it lacks some important features, the most prominent one being a lack of communication between raid and raid planners/leaders. That communication we have tried to have on the Forgotten Forum instead but we have noticed, since the implementation of Raidar, less people are visiting the forum and the thus missing vital information.

We will stop putting raids up on raidar and instead do it the old fashioned pen and paper ...

With the release of upcoming content patch players will see a change in the way we allow buffs and debuffs to stack exclusively in a raid. For the most part, what this change means is that many buffs and debuffs that were previously allowed to stack together no longer can, and that many buffs and debuffs that only a single talent specialization could bring can now be brought by multiple different specializations. The philosophy behind this change shows up in many of the changes we have made in ...

It was a motley crew that descended down the Coilfang reservoir to stop the evil Highborne lady Vashij. The Forgotten was aided by a crew of adventurers from another raid force and the experience was better than all expectations.

But as the opposition hardened the forward patrol thought that a fishing break would be in order. On a platform in the scalding water we sat down to rest and chat while enjoying a moments peace while catching some small fry with our fishing gear.

With the end of the vacations our members are coming back to us and with that refreshed blood comes the opportunity to move forward in content. For a long time Karazhan has been the main raid for the Forgotten but after some discussion and analysis of the member base, the decision from the officers is that focus will be on Serpenshrine Caverns and Zul'Aman from now on. Raid day for SSC will probably be moved to Wednesdays while ZA will stay at Monday.

Every year about this time Visby, Gotland's main town, is swarmed by medieval looking people. The market is filled with the usual stuff plus the odd armor and sword vendor, blacksmith and caramelized apple hawker.

On the outskirts of the town a bunch of Forgotten members gathered to barbeque some pork and get drunk. I was one of them. Meena and Kruska had brought former wow player Chaour (not 100% certain on the spelling) to the party also attended by Catus and Foxxie among others. The ...
