Important announcement!

With the end of the vacations our members are coming back to us and with that refreshed blood comes the opportunity to move forward in content. For a long time Karazhan has been the main raid for the Forgotten but after some discussion and analysis of the member base, the decision from the officers is that focus will be on Serpenshrine Caverns and Zul'Aman from now on. Raid day for SSC will probably be moved to Wednesdays while ZA will stay at Monday.

This does not mean we won't be going to Karazhan but that those raids will be more on a "who's up?" basis or might not get prime raiding days. For the transition to SSC to work well, a higher degree of commitment will be required from the SSC team. This means we will have a set raid day in the week when we will be going to SSC and although the play style will still be casual, the group members will need to be able to attend on a much more regular basis than has previously been the case.

SSC is a very big team effort and organization of a 25-man raid is dependent on every member to respect sign-up and attendance times as well as raid leader's need to have some time to plan the group composition. Members who commit to SSC will need to sign for the raid at least a day in advance, and if they once in a while are unable to attend they will be obliged to sign as "pass" on the website at least one day in advance so that Raid leaders have some time to find replacements before the raid begins.

For this to work we will set up a user group on the forum called Immortals where those who want to commit to SSC can apply for a spot. There will be 30 member spots available and the group will be administered by Xankriegor. The Immortals user group will be open to members of the Forgotten with a Be IMbA PvE score of at least 165. Xankriegor will have the right to chose what applications to accept or members to "dismember" (that's what Orcs do best so I heard) according to raid requirements such as class, gear and general team spirit.

If you have applied to the group but have not yet been accepted or if you feel you can't commit to one raid day per week you may still sign up for ssc raids but you will be given lower priority for being drafted to the raid. If your be imba score is too low for SSC, you will still find the Forgotten a great place to meet friends and raid Kara, Gruul or Maggy but we will try to find someone who wants to take charge of the raid planning for those raids. If you feel like you might be that person, please send a private message to Farghood or Xankriegor on the forum or in game.
